Nothing else I can say but WOW!! What a great day. We booked a tour with Evergreen Tours who picked us up at our hotel. The tour guide was amazing and he has grown up at the waterfall and has heaps of stories to tell and some cool tricks using the native plants. There are 89 steps up the mountain to get to the top and it’s about 800m of track. Take insect repellent, sunscreen, swimmers, towel and water. There are 5 different places to swim and you start at the top at the waterfall and then make your way down the mountain where you can swim in all the other areas (and jump off a few rock ledges if you feel the urge). There’s a hidden cave behind the waterfall which is pretty cool to swim into. A great platter of local food was waiting for us at the bottom of the mountain while we waited for the transfer to arrive. A really great day and well worth booking a tour. You can also hire a car and do the walk on your own if you want and I think there is an entrance fee when you arrive but if you book the tour, the fee is included. I would have done it again if I had time.

Did the morning Mele cascades, which was very pretty and enjoyable. Guide was very friendly and told us a few things, so that was good. Dropped me at the airport which was also nice. Would use their services again when I return.
