California State Capitol Museum Reviews
First off, I am a sucker for architectural preservation. I like old things. I stumbled upon this museum on a Sunday quite by accident. I was by myself, too, which meant I could meander as I might. (I ... more »

We were there on a family reunions. Family from out of state as well as local had a wonderful time at this beautiful Museum. We did a self-guided tour and everyone was so happy and to learn more about our California history. My family stayed at the Comfort Inn at Sacramento and had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean the service is great only thing lacking in the food area which is really good was turkey sausage and hash browns. Otherwise it was great.
Had a very educational and fun time at the capital. The grounds are beautiful the building is well kept and managed. Security is tight but everyone was super friendly. We really appreciated the Vietnam memorial. It brought tears to my eyes to see the number of souls listed on the walls. The sculptures of the soldiers and the letter from home was beautiful. The park is surrounded by plaques that have poems written by kids about peace. We really enjoyed this trip!
