  • I love going to the living desert with my family. My kids love the trains. There are so many different lines and the living desert always changes the cars and engines keeping things new and exciting. Some other highlights is the giraffe feedings and enclosure, they have kudos and ostriches. And the indoor Discovery room, it's a great air conditioned space ( we always stop there on the summer) There is so much fun and it just never ends and each visit has a unique experience.
  • This is truly a gem. Wonderful homes for the animals...note homes not cages! Giraffe, zebra, wolves ..great variety. The gardens represent the different desert area of the world and are very well laid out. The 30 minute lectures given by the staff are fascinating and keep the children enthralled. Can't praise enough. A must see.
