Heisler Park is the place to spend a day by the ocean. The park is on the cliffs above the sea, and from there you can easily access the beach below. Picnic areas and barbeque stands make the park a great place for family gatherings. There are numerous benches, pathways, and grassy areas. Many artists flock to the park to draw inspiration or display their talent. Pets are welcome, and you'll see plenty of people walking their dogs. Public restrooms are available, and you can find places to park on the streets bordering the park. Heisler Park is a lovely park. Like most beaches off the lovely coast of California, you can get married here! Had the thought ever occurred to you? As a wedding photographer, I was hired to photograph a wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! Of course there is a fee with the city to hold a wedding on a public beach, but my clients were absolutely in love with their wedding. This beach is beautiful and perfect for a wedding.
Amazing views from the top of the stairs overlooking the ocean and landscape. Well taken care of park that is beautiful and peaceful. The beach down below is a nice spot away from Main Beach but be sure you check which side is surf only or swim ready! Laguna Beach wasn't one of my favorite growing up, but the friendly vibe and artsy scene dominates now and I will gladly be taking more mini road trips out there.
