Visit Museum of the Rockies to see the largest collection of dinosaur remains in the United States, including the largest Tyrannosaurus Rex skull ever found. The museum covers more than 500 million years of physical and cultural history of the Rocky Mountains. The exhibits focus on dinosaurs, as well as life in the Rockies for Native Americans, fur traders, gold seekers, and settlers. The museum also contains the Tinsley House, a living history museum originally located in Willow Creek. Costumed guides explain what life was like for the Tinsley family and others like them in the 1800s. • Really neat experience and recommend if you like Dinosaurs or need something to do on a dreary day. Go to the Planetarium show also!

  • Great museum. We used our museum pass here for another museum. Loved the large collection of dinosaur bones. The kids area was great. My kids happily played there for an hour. They do turn off the noisy parts in the morning for kids that need a quieter time.
  • I love this Museum. It’s in my backyard but they keep the exhibits interesting so we go a few times a year. Even though I’ve walk through the dinosaur complex a hundred times I still cruise though every time I go. There’s also great western history there. Worth the money and the time.
