  • From the beginning of my self-guided tour until the very end, I was in awe. The lovely lady at the front counter named Carolyn was the perfect person to send me on my journey through the exhibits. The exhibits were designed with honoring the memories and sacrifices of all those involved in the struggle for rights all should have. There was an air of dignity, sorrow, and victory in each spot along the way. I appreciate the opportunity to learn more of our story, and this museum did a magnificent job of telling a critical part of it.
  • Beautiful inside and out. Shares a mall, with lots of green space, with World of Coke and Georgia Aquarium. Which is difficult to swallow since it's directly across the street from a homeless shelter. Not much free parking in the area, I think the aquarium's lot is closest. Beautiful images, lots of interesting ways to engage and teach kids- using old turn-dial TV monitors, sports cards, speaking exhibits, and more. Everyone in the USA needs to visit and educate themselves.
