Djerba Explore Park Reviews
Appena entrati abbiamo intuito abbastanza velocemente di cosa si tratta: un immenso complesso, dispersivo, freddo, asettico e senza apparente scopo se non quello come menzionato nel titolo. Gli spazi ... more »As soon as we entered we quickly sensed what it is: an immense complex, dispersive, cold, aseptic and with no apparent purpose except the one as mentioned in the title. The spaces present are used very badly and this disorients: many areas are half empty. It was evident that the park is still in the process of "rodage". With the ticket, which is also expensive, you can access three areas: the Lalla Hadria museum, the Djerba Heritage complex and the crocodile reptile. The first museum would have interesting Maghreb-Tunisian finds, but under them they completely lack captions written in language other than Arabic or French. The guides present are rather listless, so much so that, they only look at their mobile phones they have also failed to obliterate our entrance fees. The section dedicated to Tunisian folklore is absolutely prescient: if you are interested in how they lived on the island I highly recommend the Museum of Guellala which is much more complete and with competent guides, enthusiastic and available. A noteworthy part is the reptile where there are numerous observable crocodile specimens and close range. Needless to say, the bars and restaurants within this park are much more expensive than the average island. To be avoided.
Très intéressant. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer une personne sur le parc qui nous a donné toutes les informations sur la durée de vie, la reproduction , et d’où viennent ces espèces.(Tortues, ... more »Very interesting. We had the chance to meet a person on the park who gave us all the information about lifespan, reproduction, and where these species come from. (Turtles, crocodiles). Great day in a beautiful park
Nice and tidy place. First time I have seen crocodiles and they are very creepy 😳. It's also few places where you can buy coffee and soft drinks. Very nice trip. Totally recommend.
It is worth visiting to see one of the unique Crocodile's farms in the Mediterranean. Their number is just surprising (websites say 400). It should be a short visit unless you want to stay and watch the feeding time (the only time you have a chance to see these animals moving). Additionally, there are other lezards and turtles.
