Nearly two millennia old, Baths of Antoninus form part of the Carthage World Heritage Site. Preserved sculptures, stone carvings in Latin, and giant pillars will have you contemplating the complex's construction while enjoying the scenic seaside views. A carving of the original layout of the compound will help you picture the baths more clearly-- you can also take a guided tour for extra information about the rich history of the site. See Baths of Antoninus and all Carthage has to offer by arranging your trip with our Carthage itinerary planning app.

Ancient history with stunning seaside views, a must see and do. It was like 5$ each to get in definitely worth it. Wear running shoes you are walking for at least an hour or more, up and down steps.... more »

The scale of this site is gigantic and the engineering required really boggles the mind! Super impressive and that’s only observing the ruins that remain - cast yourself back and imagine what it must have been like at its prime! Don’t wander too far because armed security detail will whistle at you as the president’s coastal house is just next door

This historic place tells you how important but also elegant Carthago must have been during later Roman rule. The plot ends at the Mediterranean sea and it also includes remnants of Christian church and chapel as well as Punic graves and furnaces. Lots of palm trees so plenty of shadow on a hot October day. Plan up to an hour for the visit and consider taking a guide.
