You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Get in touch with nature at Margaret Island and Danube River. Shop till you drop at Central Market Hall and Herend Porcelain - Hadik Shop. There's still lots to do: explore the historical opulence of Buda Castle, steep yourself in history at Liberty Statue, explore the galleries of Hungarian National Museum, and make a trip to Shoes on the Danube Bank.
