Wollongong

— 59 nights
Wollongong, informally referred to as "The Gong", is a seaside city located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Wollongong Botanic Garden and Wattamolla Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Berry (Berry Country Fair & Drawing Room Rocks), Jervis Bay (Booderee National Park, Cape St George Lighthouse, &more) and Katoomba (Queen Elizabeth Lookout, Echo Point Lookout, &more). Spend the 18th (Thu) exploring nature at Blue Mountains National Park Glenbrook. Spend the 2nd (Fri) exploring nature at Bendeela Camping and Picnic Area. There's still lots to do: grab your bike and head to Wollongong To Thirroul Bike Track, examine the collection at The Australian Motorlife Museum, kick back and relax at Port Kembla Beach, and have fun and explore at Early Start Discovery Space.

In March, daily temperatures in Wollongong can reach 31°C, while at night they dip to 18°C.
