Sidi Bou Said a town in northern Tunisia located about 20 km from the capital, Tunis.Named for a religious figure who lived there, Abou Said ibn Khalef ibn Yahia Al-Tamimi Al-Baji|Abou Said ibn Khalef ibn Yahia al-Tamimi al-Baji (previously it was called Jabal el-Menar). Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Baths of Antoninus and Palace Dar Nejma Ezzahra. North Africa American Cemetery and Memorial and Saint Louis Cathedral will appeal to history buffs. Change things up with a short trip to Ruins of Kerkouane in Kelibia (about 1h 30 min away).
