Tanjung Bungah

Originally a quiet fishing village, today Tanjung Bungah makes up one of Penang's suburbs.
On the 1st (Sun), don't miss a visit to Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque, admire the natural beauty at Tropical Spice Garden, and then find something for the whole family at ESCAPE. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get engrossed in the history at Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, get some fabulous bargains at Indochine Natural, then look for gifts at The Soap Cellar, then take in nature's colorful creations at Penang Avatar Secret Garden, and finally stroll through Batu Ferringhi Beach.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major airports are Penang International Airport, Langkawi International Airport and Sultan Azlan Shah Airport. Expect a daytime high around 36°C in December, and nighttime lows around 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
