Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
On the 26th (Sat), tour the pleasant surroundings at Circuito Magico Del Agua and then steep yourself in history at Huaca Pucllana. On the 27th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of Lima, kick back and relax at El Silencio, then make a trip to Miraflores, and finally stroll around Parque Kennedy - Parque Central de Miraflores.

Lisbon, Portugal to Lima is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. You'll gain 5 hours traveling from Lisbon to Lima due to the time zone difference. Capital of the Inca Empire for three centuries, World Heritage-listed Cusco is now a major tourist destination, drawing nearly 2 million annual tourists with its well-preserved colonial architecture and proximity to Machu Picchu.
Step off the beaten path and head to Tipon and Mercado Central de San Pedro. Do some cultural sightseeing at Sacsayhuaman and River Rafting & Tubing.
