Hita is a city located in Ōita Prefecture, Japan, that was founded on December 11, 1940. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Mikumagawa River and Takatsuka Atago Jizoson. Get out of town with these interesting Hita side-trips: Nakatsu (Yabakei Dam Memorial Park Keisekien, Rakanji Temple, &more), Kokonoe-machi (Ryumon Falls & Kokonoe Yume Otsurihashi Bridge) and Jion Falls (in Kusu-machi). Get out of town with these interesting Taketa side-trips: Kokonoe-machi (Kuju Mountain Range, Tadewara Wetlands, &more), Chinda Fall (in Bungoono) and Usuki Sekibutsu (in Usuki). Saiki is a city located in Ōita Prefecture, Japan. Step off the beaten path and head to Nioza Rekishi no Michi and Mt. Hikodake. Get out of town with these interesting Saiki side-trips: Sekizaki Lighthouse (in Oita) and Usuki (Inabake Shimoyashiki, Usuki Samurai House Streets, &more).
