Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Akihabara, Ameya Yokocho (Ameyoko), 上野東照宮 Toshogu Shrine, and other attractions you added. Museum-lovers will appreciate Kanda Myojin and National Museum of Western Art. Do some cultural sightseeing at Asakusa Shrine and Sengaku-ji Temple. Traveling from Cairo to Tokyo, you'll lose 7 hours due to the time zone difference. Get some historical perspective at Daishoin Temple and Senjokaku. Do some cultural sightseeing at Itsukushima Shrine Torii and Mitaki Temple. Take a break from Hiroshima with a short trip to Misen Wild Woods in Hatsukaichi, about 52 minutes away. There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, admire the masterpieces at Hiroshima Museum of Art, step into the grandiose world of Hiroshima Castle, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Hiroshimagokoku Shrine.
