Rila is a town in southwestern Bulgaria, in Rila Municipality, part of Kyustendil Province. Start off your visit on the 13th (Fri): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Rila and then explore the striking landscape of Rila National Park. On your second day here, take in the awesome beauty at Musala Peak and then contemplate the long history of Rila Monastery.

Koprivshtitsa is a historic town in the Koprivshtitsa Municipality in Sofia Province, central Bulgaria, lying on the Topolnitsa River among the Sredna Gora mountains. Get out of town with these interesting Koprivshtitsa side-trips: Thracian Temple Complex Starosel (in Hissarya), Etropole Monastery (in Etropole) and Central Balkan National Park (in Kalofer). On the 21st (Sat), tour the pleasant surroundings at Yanakiev Ski and Snowboard School, don't miss a visit to Tsarska Bistritsa, and then walk around Borovets Mountain Bike Park. On the 22nd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take an in-depth tour of Historical Museum, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Borovets Ski Resort, and then trot along with a tour on horseback.
