In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
You've added Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Museo Della Scienza E Della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci, and other attractions to your itinerary. Grande Museo del Duomo di Milano and Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio will appeal to museum buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Poldi Pezzoli and Castello Sforzesco. Step out of Milan to go to Bergamo and see Accademia Carrara, which is approximately 1h 5 min away. Do some cultural sightseeing at Piazza San Marco and Basilica di San Marco. Doge's Palace and Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari will appeal to history buffs.
