Frankfurt, Germany to Vik is an approximately 12.5-hour combination of flight, shuttle, and bus. You can also do a combination of train, flight, shuttle, and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Frankfurt to Vik. While traveling from Frankfurt, expect cooler days and slightly colder nights in Vik, ranging from highs of 14°C to lows of 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) so you can travel to Svinafell.

Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Tue): take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback and then get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour.
