Outback Capital of the Northern Territory

The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
Change things up with a short trip to Territory Wildlife Park in Berry Springs (about 42 minutes away). Spend the 29th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Mindil Beach, examine the collection at Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, look for all kinds of wild species at Crocosaurus Cove, and make a splash at Wave Lagoon.
