Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, about 40 minutes away. The adventure continues: don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, visit Ginza, take a stroll through Odaiba District, and admire the landmark architecture of Tokyo Tower.

An old castle town largely unspoiled during World War II, Kanazawa features well-preserved architecture spread across a range of districts.
On the 6th (Fri), examine the collection at Dolls Museum, steep yourself in history at Nomura Family Samurai House, make a trip to Omicho Market, then admire the landmark architecture of Kanazawa Station, then explore the activities along Kenrokuen Kasumiga-ike Pond, and finally stroll around Kenrokuen Garden.

Kyoto is known for historic sites, shopping, and classes. Traveling by car from Kanazawa to Kyoto takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. When traveling from Kanazawa in August, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Kyoto: temperatures range from 39°C by day to 29°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Tue) so you can go by car to Osaka.

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 12th (Thu): explore the historical opulence of Osaka Castle, then meet the residents at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, then make a trip to Kuromon Market, and finally wander the streets of Dotombori District.
