When in Florence, make a side trip to see Leaning Tower of Pisa in Pisa, approximately Pisa away. Take a train from Florence to Venice in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Florence in November: highs in Venice hover around 15°C, while lows dip to 7°C. Naples is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan. Kick off your visit on the 16th (Sat): make a trip to Oltre I Resti, then explore the world behind art at Museo Cappella Sansevero, and then contemplate the long history of Pompeii Archaeological Park. On the 17th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get outside with Cilento, then pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Salerno, then make a trip to Chiesa San Pietro a Corte, and finally see the interesting displays at Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli.

Known for its impressive hillside cascade of colorful stone buildings down to the Mediterranean shore, Amalfi is the cultural and commercial heart of southern Italy's Amalfi Coast.
Venture out of the city with trips to Monte Finestra (in Tramonti) and Positano (Fornillo & Il Sentiero Degli Dei). There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Ravello, steep yourself in history at Villa Rufolo, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Duomo di Sant'Andrea, and take in nature's colorful creations at Villa Cimbrone Gardens.
