Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): get engrossed in the history at The Old Farmhouse Laufas. On the 2nd (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback and then admire the natural beauty at Arctic Botanical Gardens (Lystigardurinn).
