Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
Attractions like Horseback Riding Tours and Speed Boats Tours make great kid-friendly stops. Visiting Hverfjall and Goðafoss Waterfall will get you outdoors. Next up on the itinerary: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Namafjall (Namaskard), go for a walk through Viti Crater, and stroll through Krafla Lava Fields.
