An important gateway for trade and travel between Honshu and Kyushu, the city of Kitakyushu has an old industrial waterfront and provides access to a number of natural sites across the wider region.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Fri): don't miss a visit to San Ki Ro, admire the natural beauty at Shiranoe Botanical Garden, thenmake a trip to Old Kurauchi Residence, thenadmire the sheer force of Sugao Waterfall, and finally get curious at Kitakyushu Culture and Science Museum for Youth. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sumiyoshi Shrine, appreciate the extensive heritage of Jokamachi Chofu, make a trip to Kanmon Tunnel for Humans (Moji Side), thencontemplate the long history of Ogai Mori Former Residence, thenwalk around Takatoyama Park, and finally admire the natural beauty at Green Park.

Traveling from Singapore to Kitakyushu, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. The resort town of Beppu puts the geothermal nature of the region to good use.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Sun): get in on the family fun at Kijima Kogen Park, trek along Mt. Tsurumi, thencontemplate the waterfront views at Shidakako Lake, thenlook for gifts at Angel Kimono Rental Beppu, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Jumonjibaru Observation Deck. On the 30th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the long history of Kumano Magaibutsu, thencontemplate in the serene atmosphere at Fukiji Temple, thenget engrossed in the history at Oita Prefectural Museum of History, and finally indulge in Japan's hot spring tradition at some of the top local onsens.

Taketa is a city located in Ōita Prefecture, Japan. Kick off your visit on the 31st (Tue): make a trip to Christian Cave Bethel, take in the awesome beauty at Mt. Kuju, stroll around Sky Park Azamidai Observatory, thensee human ingenuity at work at Hakusui Dam, and finally walk around Nyuta Nakashima Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 1st (Wed): take in the awesome beauty at Mt. Nakadake, appreciate the views at Kuju Highland, thentake your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Kuju Mountain Range, and finally get great views at Senomoto Kogen.
