Geysir

Geysir ©
Geysir tourism revolves around a famed geyser, which goes from very calm to extremely volatile depending on the subterranean seismic activity at the time.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Mon): witness a stunning natural landmark at Haukadalur, take in the dramatic scenery at Gullfoss Falls, then play a few rounds at Geysir Golf Course, and finally take in the natural beauty of Strokkur. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: appreciate the views at Gjain, then experience rural life at Fridheimar, then admire the sheer force of Faxi (Vatnsleysufoss) Waterfall, and finally take in the dramatic scenery at Bruarfoss Waterfall.

To see other places to visit, ratings, traveler tips, and tourist information, you can read our Geysir sightseeing app.
