Known for its own microclimate that is generally milder than the rest of the French Riviera, Menton is located very close to the border with Italy, whose influence is visible in the architecture and customs of the city.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Tue): explore the different monuments and memorials at Cemetery of the Old Chateau, look for gifts at Prestige de Menton - Eau de Menton, steep yourself in history at Basilica St. Michel, then pause for some serene contemplation at La Chapelle des Pénitents-Blancs, and finally step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.
