The birthplace of a story that changed my life. The Diary of Anne Frank is a story of hope, history, inspiration and humanity - and to see the annex she so vividly describes.. to walk on the same floorboards just as she did... it is an absolutely humbling experience that is unrivaled by anything I've ever witnessed. I found the visit to be educational, emotional and I felt it honor her life and story so beautifully. I recommend visiting for yourself. May Anne's story live on.
Really interesting insight into the life of the Frank family and those that stayed with them. There is lots of original items, including some of the diaries and there is a great (and concise) free audio tour. It's probably the one Museum you HAVE to visit (but make sure you book) in Amsterdam. It was longer than I expected but still quite short and only took about 30 minutes to get round the whole thing. Definitely worth it.
