This is old place more than 2000 years, may be more than that Need a better plan for developing this place No need to pay for entering, but behave properly and wear suitable clothes more »

I have been visited this temple several times when we go to katharagama. This place has grown it's statues and really good and calm place.

This is a beautiful location. The temple is on top of a beautiful rock mountain. There is ample parking in the area. There is a washroom which you have to pay Rs.10 to enter. I don't think it is worth the price because the place is flooded with water. Most of the people on their way to Katharagama, stop here to have breakfast. The only issue is there is no proper waste disposal method. People post garbage under trees which is worsening the condition. It would be grate if they can install some garbage bins in the area
