  • Interesting and comprehensive the visit (in Portuguese and English) of the stadium which is not perfect but addictive. You don't visit the trophy room.

  • Maybe as a fan from Benfica I'm not the best person to make a review of the stadium. Besides being a pretty new and modern stadium, my experience, and yours, will come from the end result... After the 90 minutes. While I had too see Benfica lose, on my visit, I still enjoyed every moment. The supporters all act great, and even when losing, everyone behave as it should. I could see some away supporters between the "benfiquistas". Pick you match, join the support and enjoy a good night of sports... just make sure you take the right colors with you...
  • Went to a World Cup qualifier here and had a damn good time. Beer and food outside the stadium was reasonable and tasty. FYI no beer in the stadium! (that's kind of a bummer). The whole experience was awesome and I look forward to going back to a Benfica and Sporting game!!!
  • Stadium tour - We went on a match day so I guess it's no surprise you can't go in the home dressing room on those days. Instead they had the home team jerseys in the away team dressing room. The tour was conducted in Portuguese and English and our guide was very informative. She asked that people don't talk whilst she was talking so everyone could hear. It is quite a quick tour as tours depart every 30mins and each one has around 15-30 people so it's obviously popular. The stadium itself is very impressive and you get to walk round the pitch ehich is cool and see the eagles (real life mascots) as you walk round. The tour also entitles you a discount in the store
  • I might be a bit biased as this is my football team, but overall the stadium accesses, emergency exits and overall experience is very good. The place feels very clean (well, at least before the games), staff is helpful in finding your way when you're lost and never had any problems here.
  • Nice stadium experience, the tour takes you to the stands, the press room, the away team changing room, the players tunnel and the field. The eagles guarding the stadium are cool!

Where to stay in Lisbon

Check into one of Lisbon's grand city center hotels to position yourself well to explore the central historical districts on foot. To avoid the potentially high prices of some of the Old Town's central upscale hotels, try staying in a hostel instead. While some hostels have an upper age limit for their guests, they're affordable and oftentimes offer access to attractions on par with or better than bigger hotels. In the upper town, opt for one of the family-run bed and breakfasts, which provide affordable rooms and, as the name would suggest, include a meal as well.
