Piłsudski's Mound is located in Kraków, Poland, and was established by the Polish nation in honor of Józef Piłsudski. An artificial mound, it was constructed between the years, 1934 and 1937. It is located in the western part of Kraków, on the Sowiniec Heights, Kraków's VII District "Zwierzyniec". It is the newest and largest of Kraków's four mounds.

  • I’ve been here for more than 10 times! Finally after long years my mom got in here! She absolutely loved it! So I did! One of the best area where you can go and be in silence, silence is not really common in Krakow! And also, be aware of bors, there are a lot them!
  • A must when you're in Cracow. Easily accessible by a car, bike or bus. Relaxing walk from the bus stop or a parking lot. Easy access to the top of the mound. Great views - you can see both Cracow and it's surroundings including the airport down below. Admission: FREE
