Such a great exhibit. It was done so well...getting to walk through each year. The figures looked so lifelike I did a double take the first time. Take coins for a poppy to throw in the cemetery at the end. And the huge battle scene at the end was amazing, with so many little figurines.
Really worth the time! Entertaining and informative, the displays are very well curated and the information provided keeps you interested. It’s great for children 5+ and all age groups above, if you aren’t very knowledgeable you will learn a lot and if you know your WWI history you will get nice new bits and pieces. You can go through both halls in 50 minutes or less, the trenches are fun and might take 30 minutes more. The trenches require a separate ticket. There’s a nice gift-shop inside. The museum does offer guided tours, ask at the front desk.
