  • Closest I have ever been to active kiwis. Many rear birds and parrots I have never seen before. These people are doing a great job of conservation and preservation.  more »

  • It was awesome! Must- see. Lots of happy-looking birds with really interesting information and a great cause. More than just a bird park; there's audio guides, honey tasting, a really quality souvenir shop including with possum fur and merino products, and an engaging bird show.
  • Not cheap to enter, but it's obviously not cheap to run either. We spent 3 hours there. We had a great time and hope we helped preserve native wildlife. Great staff. Great place.
