Hike to the highest summit on the Isle of Pines, known to locals as Pic N'Ga. Lace up your hiking shoes, take plenty of water, and slather on sunscreen to protect yourself against the unobstructed sunshine as you ascend the 262 m (860 ft) summit. Once you reach the top, take a few moments to admire and photograph the panoramic views of the island and the ocean. Pic N'Ga Reviews
Partis de la plage de Kuto l'accès à ce pic n'est pas évident pour des personnes pas trew sportives. Si au début ça va, attention tout de même aux racines dans certains endroits, la pente principale e... more »From Kuto beach access to this peak is not easy for people not sports trew. If at first it goes, beware of the roots in some places, the main slope is a real wall and the pebbles do not help anything. Bring good shoes and water. At the top the view is stunning... when it rains it's less cool. Count 2 good hours if you have to stop catching your breath.
Une très belle promenade que cette ascension du pic n'ga. Mais attention il faut de bonnes chaussures car le sol très caillouteux peut être glissant et l'on peut vite se tordre une cheville. Attention... more »A very nice walk that this ascent of the n'ga peak. But be careful you need good shoes because the very stony ground can be slippery and you can quickly twist an ankle. Also beware the absence of arrowing can lead you in the wrong direction. Otherwise the effort is rewarded with magnificent views. Time about 2 hours with children about ten years old.
Nice little 20min walk to reach the summit. Beautiful view of the island from above at 270°. You have a better view before the summit (too many trees)
Great hike, when you get to the top you dominate the island at 360 degrees. It takes 45 minutes to climb to a tranquillou rhythm.
