This is at Fort St.Elmo, which itself has beautiful views. I loved the museum, especially getting to see the real George Cross awarded to Malta in WW2. Very interesting and well worth a visit, though a lot of reading of boards, so little ones might find it a bit boring. Malta has a rich history, much of which has seen various invaders fighting over it for it's strategic position - I never knew how influential a position it held in world history. Highly recommended.
A brilliantly comprehensive history of Malta housed in an old naval fort that manages to be both imposing and beautiful. A short walk from Valletta's centre and a direct run from the city gate. Definitely check this out when you visit if even just for the stunning vistas its bastions provide.
