Get a taste of a notorious chapter in history at Inquisitor's Palace, one of the last surviving of its kind and the only one open to the public. This rare experience allows you to view the kitchen, main floor, and private quarters of the Holy Office Tribunal, and even the prison complex and torture chamber. While most such palaces were destroyed during the French Revolution, this particular one survived thanks to the protection of residing officials. Also look for the ethnography museum inside, which displays Malta's religious traditions as consolidated by the Inquisition.     I did not expect that there was so much to visit, so I was very pleased with this visit. Allow yourself between 60 and 90 min, or you won't have time to see it all.  more »

    Very well preserved and portrayed. Good information in each area with excellent video shows. Lots of steps but enough places to sit if needed.
