  • Treat the animals as you would want to be treated . Was on the perimeter with my wife and witnessed staff using sticks to move the giraffes off the road . Beating the giraffe's violently on the back....  more »
  • We got there 15min after opening and immediately went to queue for the sightseeing buses. Unfortunately, all available slots left were after 1pm which would make us late to drive back to Kawaguchiko.....  more »

  • Highly recommend to take the super jungle bus. If you are just driving through the safari area it’s like a normal zoo. Unfortunately the tour is only in Japanese (they should do something about it) . But it was very informative and was fun. You can feed directly to the lions , bears, camels. The route the bus goes is different to the one we drove our car too. The normal jungle bus costs 1300yen each person and super jungle bus ( the animals comes on top) costs 2000yen . The entrance fee was only 2100 yen for two of us because we got the member card (it’s free . You just order it online but you have to get the card delivered to you) and they had the-one-person-free-with-Member-one campaign. In the park there’s small animals you can play with or feed . you put coins (usually it’s 100yen) and take the feed by yourself or you talk to the staff . There’s restaurant, food outside ,special cat house or rabbit house ( 500yen) . So you will find what you or your child likes. I really wish if they had English/Chinese/Korean especially on tour though. It’s on the mountain area and was cold. (We went there in feb).
  • Great place for friends and family to experience this drive through whether in a car or on a bus. There are many many animals featured and there are many of them of each type as well. Enjoyed this park and the safety they employ. The animals were also not sleeping or just slouching like on other such similar parks I have been too. Must visit.
