Step into Akiyoshido, a large cavern housing a number of interesting rock formations and a mysterious, otherworldly atmosphere. A prominent feature of the local karst landscape, the limestone cave has an entrance 24 m (78 ft) in height and 8 m (26 ft) in width, though the cave reaches 100 m (328 ft) in width and 80 m (262 ft) in height inside. Punctuated with a number of naturally carved works of art, the cave has become known for its terraced limestone pools, underground waterfalls, and streams.
