Stroll across Rainbow Bridge, a 798 m (2,618 ft) suspension bridge spanning northern Tokyo Bay and offering sweeping views of the city. Completed in 1993, the bridge includes walkways on the north and south sides of its lower deck. From the north side, see the inner harbor and iconic tower; from the south, observe the bay and, on particularly clear days, catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance. At night, colorful lights illuminate the bridge, while walkers stop at the benches positioned near the support towers to talk and reflect on scenery. Note that bicycle riding is not permitted. One of my favourite days in Japan - was lucky with the weather. A beautiful walk and there are two sides to pick from. I'd recommend doing either the city view or the sea view first then swapping. Beautiful beach and park. Highly recommended!

A landmark in Tokyo near a small beach where you can see the sky light up in vibrant colors. I was lucky enough to see the bridge when it shined the brightest during a winter fireworks display. A truly unforgettable sight that I’ll look back on. Must go if you have the opportunity!
