Traverse the five arches of Kintaikyo Bridge, a historic wooden bridge that crosses the Nishiki River. The scenic bridge has been restored several times since its construction in 1673, but still retains its continuous arch shape and exhibits intricate wooden craftsmanship and details. Walk across the pedestrian-only bridge and stop along the way to enjoy the view of the river, overlooked by the towering Mount Yokoyama and Iwakuni castle perched on its top. Our Iwakuni trip planning app makes visiting Kintaikyo Bridge and other Iwakuni attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.
