The scenic beaches and turquoise waters of Kabira Park on Ishigaki Island make this spot one of the most photographed places in Okinawa. An observation point situated just above the Kabira Bay offers a truly impressive view of pristine scenery, with Mount Omoto in the background. Swimming is prohibited, but you can take a tour on a glass-bottom boat for extraordinary undersea sights of various coral reefs. Enjoy incredible colors in the water and complex rock formations on land, with trees growing on them. A regular bus service connects the park with Ishigaki city centre, some 30 minutes away by car.
