Take a lift or climb the spiraling stairs to the top of the 40 m (131.2 ft) Enoshima Sea Candle, where you'll experience breathtaking 360 degree vistas across the bay and city. On a clear day you'll be afforded some of the best views of Mt. Fuji available, with its snow-capped, conical shape visible in the haze of the day. Not only a viewpoint, the structure still functions as a lighthouse, as well as supporting antennas providing cell phone signals. Consider a nighttime visit; aside from being recognized as the 6th best "Japan Heritage Night View," the structure lights up brilliantly, powered by solar energy collected throughout the day.
I don't know if it's always there, but i'll definitely be light-up in winter, especially around the holiday season. I think the evening is more beautiful than the day. It is recommended to walk from Enoshima Station at dusk to the island,View original -
エスカーというエスカレーターのチケットにこのシーキャンドルを付けました。展望台があるだけですが、眺めがいいので、気持ちよかったです。風が強いと屋外の展望台には出られないようです。天気が良ければおすすめします。 more »
I put this sea candle on the ticket of the escalator named Esker. There is only an observatory, but the view is good, so it was comfortable. If the wind is strong, it seems that you can't go to the outdoor observatory. If the weather is good, I recommend it.View original

Impressive location, interesting scenery and places of cultural interest. Quite busy on Monday so what it will be like for the Olympics difficult to imagine. To get up to the viewing point and beyond there are quite a few steps so not for the unfit or people who do not like a bit of a challenge. Lots of food outlets on the way as well as range of gift shops. Enjoyed it.

Nice view of Enoshima from above. The price is very reasonable and there is a cozy cafe in the park at the bottom. The lift takes you to the top where you get a 360 view, and then you can descend using the stairs. There were some nice water painting goods on sale in the tower.
