Inside a monumental glass dome on the shores of Tokyo Bay, Tokyo Sea Life Park allows you to learn about the rich diversity of the world's aquatic creatures. Sea life from all across the globe thrives in numerous exhibits, designed to recreate various sea habitats and containing everything from bluefin tuna and nursery fish, to giant kelp and sea toads. While away the hours uncovering a new species at every turn, and remember that this park contains one of Japan's largest exhibits of penguins and water birds. An onsite restaurant provides refreshments, while a gift shop ensures nobody leaves without a suitable souvenir. To plan Tokyo vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

Tokyo Sea life is a large sea aquarium with multitude of fish from all over the world. Shark and ray swim in huge tanks, exotic topical fish in small ones. There is an open air section with adorable..... more »

My younger kids (10 and 12) love sea life. For around $15, we spent around two hours checking out a wide variety of animals. Highly recommended for families. Great value! more »

Beautiful big aquarium nested in a wonderful park. You should make this a one day trip and first visit the aquarium and then have a picnic in the park or on the beach. Which ever you choose it will be amazing. The aquarium is really nice and if you have kids they will have so much fun here. In addition to seeing many species of fish and marine life you can actually touch some of them. Also, the penguins are always fun to watch. One of my favorite spots in Tokyo especially with the kids. An excellent aquarium especially for the price! The kids always learn so much here! We drive all the way across Tokyo to go here and it is so worth it. It's a great and beautiful place for the family and kids. You can see and even touch different sea creatures here. Brilliant design of the building itself! The fish tanks are classified by the habitats worldwide such as those near Japan, deep in the ocean, or Great Barrier Reef. The introduction of each of them is informative even to kids. This is a place for families going for a trip!

This aquarium may be on the smaller side but it is quite good. The information on each tank is quite detailed and the fish are kept so that they are quite easy to see, by their area of origin. Even if it weren’t... I would still give it five stars for its ultimate collection of Omiyage.
