Museo Delta Antico Reviews

Through a route organized on four sections (Etruscan and previous period, Roman, medieval, the Roman ship) are well presented many finds and some multimedia content. Particularly interesting are the objects found in a Roman ship found in 1981 submerged by mud that has preserved in addition to amphorae and metal figurines, also leather objects, wood and plant fibers. Definitely worth a visit!

Parts of the ship's armament, maintenance tools, anchor, 102 lead ingots from the mines of Spain branded AGRIP, Marco Vipsanio Agrippa the great general of Augustus, amphorae for oil and wine, table and kitchen services on board, a couple of caligae, nailed sandals of the military, a gladio, footwear, miniaturistic votive temples, calamai. The ship is still under restoration. There's also a whole good part about Spina. Great set-up with well-made multimedia points. The only flaw is the lack of seating in some of these places, necessary because the visit is worth a whole morning or an entire afternoon. Well done the press guide of the museum.
This museum alone is worth the trip and Comacchio's visit! Beautiful exhibits displayed very well with many short explanatory videos and very very well made. Excellent example of the enhancement of unique finds, good!
Museum very cared for in detail, rich in multimedia information. You enter the history of the delta discovering very interesting aspects. Very important place in antiquity for trade and exchange of cultures.
