One of the most rewarding free activities in Ubud, Campuhan Ridge Walk doubles as a picturesque and eco-friendly bicycle ride. This paved trail traverses some of Bali's prettiest landscapes and offers nature lovers a chance to get some fresh air, stretch their legs, and escape the more crowded southern sections of the island. The trek starts at an 8th-century shrine in Ubud and snakes across verdant hills for a little over 9 km (5 mi). Suitable for hikers and cyclists of all ages and fitness levels, the trail passes through tiny villages and right next to a cozy guesthouse, where you can rest and recharge before going back or charging onward. Lokasinya agak tersembunyi, tapi mudah ditemukan bila sudah melihat Hotel Warwick. Rutenya tidak panjang, namun cukup membuat keringat bercucuran karena menanjak & menurun. Cocok untuk olahraga pagi. more »The location is a bit hidden, but easy to find when already see Hotel Warwick. The route is not long, but it is enough to make a sweat because uphill & downhill. Suitable for morning sport.
Amazing hike between the green fields With amazing view. The path is easy and well prepared You don’t need any kind of guides, just go and enjoy. After around 2.5 km you will start seeing the rice fields and the farmers working there. The way back is the same path so you can walk as long as you can then go back or you can hire a taxi at the end. There is a lot of cafes in the way so you can buy water or any kind of refreshments. Make sure to have your water, hat, sunscreen.
A nice walk. Worth a visit at least once. Definitely agree with the other reviewers who have said to start off early, because it does get hot. But I also found there was a nice mix of sun and shade.
