Explore the 16th-century fortified castle at El Morro. Built to protect Havana's harbor from ongoing raids, the site now affords visitors wonderful views of the city, especially at sundown. If you’re interested in history, you'll enjoy your walk around the fortress. However, you'll be exposed to the elements during much of your stroll, so check the weather before you visit. The grounds are quite expansive, and there are great views of the Atlantic, San Juan Bay and part of San Juan. Unfortunately, you can not tour inside the fort at the present time. There was no sign.... more »

This place is extremely nice however, there's a really anxiety provoking guardrail that allows for dogs to fall to their deaths. It's horrifying to know that in the five years that've pasted, doggos might have died from that fall. Please, please PLEASE install a chicken mesh at the bottom of the guardrail. Otherwise don't remember too much
