Gunga Beach, Roteiro

Celebrated for its extraordinary white sands and exuberant coconut groves, Gunga Beach offers the best of both worlds: a quiet inner beach and a bustling outer beach. The inner reef is quieter with soft white sands, small food and drink vendors, and calm waters. The outer reef is bustling with tourist activity, loud music, raging waves, many waterfront bar restaurants, and small shops selling handmade crafts. Praia do Gunga (Gungas Beach) has unique Maceió south coast positioning surrounded by high cliffs between Lagoa do Roteiro (Roteiro Lake) and the Atlantic Ocean. This gives the waters its signature turquoise color during low tide and its emerald green hue during high tide when the ocean waters meet the waters of the lake.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent equipment to go surfing, windsurfing, and jet skiing, or go on a boat tour beyond the reef. While none of the beaches in Brazil are private, access to this beach is private, but the coconut farm offers vehicle access for a fee. It's easier and more cost effective to get there by boat from Barra de São Miguel or via a tour guide company that transports you by bus or catamaran. • A beach about 40 km from Maceia, is reached by a boat transfer that lasts approximately 15 minutes. It has fantastic infrastructure; Once there one can opt for several walks,we opt for the bugui ride (one of the best), They take you to tour the cliffs that are in the place with beautiful views. It's a place to repeat

  • The Gunga beach is very beautiful with sea on one side and river on the other. However, it is the worst tent/beach restaurant structure among all the tours carried out. There is a division by colors of guard you are. Operator Luck gives access to the Greens. There begins the dislike: are plastic chairs in the super uncomfortable sand with 2 extremely loud speakers playing very bad songs. Until then OK, it occurs that there is a more nifty structure with sofas made of wooden pallet and cushions and if you feel, comes a waiter who speaks that costs 250 reais to use. If you sit on a chaise, you charge too. Totally different from other beaches that offer comfort without charge. I thought you guys couldn't please the tourists. If you can, run from this structure.

  • Have a good food, but with a bad infrastructure, you don't have much thing to do there, only have the travel with buggy and the beach, the price it is expensive and have so many people selling things. It is a place more poor
