  • If you like art nouveau and the architect Victor Horta, I recommend a visit to this House in St Gilles. The canopy is beautiful and the light that comes to bathe the stairwell is a delight. On the other hand, a few points to which it must be careful: entry quite expensive for 30 minutes of visit (10 euros per adult) ban to make photo or even dare to have his mobile self (feels monitored as kids in math mark) little explanation a lot of world

  • This residential neighborhood in Brussels (Ixelles) developed very nicely during the Art Nouveau period and there are other Horta and other's houses nearby. This is a museum of his own house and ateli...  more »
  • I love the House museums because you project into the past and in someone else's life, painter poet writer, and make you dream. This multi-story lodge is lovely, well kept and cared for, with original furniture and objects, bright, charming, a happy return. Pay close attention to the opening and closing times, because it is a private foundation is only open for a few hours, in the afternoon, and you had a wasted trip. You can take pictures but you'll find postcards and booklets in ticket area. Ticket price average, Brussels is still an expensive city.

  • An absolute gem and must see in Brussels! All designs just flowing, so well put together. Apart from that, a very pleasant place to be in.
  • Very interesting, small place, loved the art nouveau architecture and design. You cannot take pictures and even very small bags are not allowed inside. The staff was not very nice so be ready to be patient.
  • The house is very special and our tour guide was great. It is just a pity that pictures are not allowed and that there is no freely available educational material (no audioguide / teachers' guide).
  • It all goes together pretty neat, as if there's a pattern. And if you like architecture it might just be the place for you. If you're under 18, the ticket is 3£. Also, no photos, and the staff obviously like this idea so much that they make you put your mobile and other belongings in a safe until you finish the tour. (!!!) So don't forget you're not allowed to carry your phone. At all. The nicest travels, duderinos 🌿
  • What a great house! You need to see what is good living in great house. What a house could and should be! Would recommend it.
