  • Do not go to Brussels without visiting the Horta House, which is a gem of Art Nouveau, everything is wonderful and you climb the stairs admiring the stained glass windows and art nouveau furniture patterns. This is why it is not enough to admire it from the outside!

  • We had the chance to queue. The entrance is very filtered: we leave everything in a record including the such to avoid, among other things, pictures (we buy those in the shop, thus helping future restorations). There are a lot of people, spaces are relatively cramped. Shocks on the furniture are avoided. The staff is perfectly courteous with people educated and respectful. This restored house and found that over the years some of his furniture; is just extraordinary beauty. Originally; the workshop and the private parts were separated. You try to imagine the daily life of Horta, you travel in time. The scenery is so refined: wood, marble, ceramic, metal together so elegantly in the theme of art nouveau. In short, a splendor not to miss as it is accessible easily unlike other houses of this style

  • As big art nouveau fans, we were well-prepared for our experience at the Horta Museum, and thankfully weren't disappointed. We took the metro to 'Horta' and then walked to Rue Americaine - no signage,...  more »

  • I was a bit disappointed y this place. It opens in the afternoon, check website for details. There is a limit of 45 people inside at any one time. They could do with better signage inside and make the brochure reflect the path through the building. But the building is very interesting, reflecting the use of iron and natural light, with lots of detailing in the fixtures and fittings. Horta was similar to Gaudi in designing both structure and details of buildings.
  • Lots of Art Nouveau architecture in Brussels, but not much of it is accessible to the public. This is the house of the most prominent master of the style, beautifully restored. Spectacular!
  • Such a beautiful home of Horta. I was so amazed. You have to be there to understand, pictures are strictly forbidden to take and everyone should respect that rule. Totally worth the visit if you're a interior and art lover.
  • Fantastic place sadly in the hands of a really rude staff. And how can a museum shop have a minimum limit of 10€ for card purchase when every bar and kiosk don't have one. This without even informing about it when you buy tickets from across the room for 10€ each.
  • Excellent. Unforgettable. Such a beautiful house. Special to be where Horta lived and worked.
