Excellent boardwalk along the ocean. Great vibe along the beach with all age groups. Sunset is the best time to visit with stunning views, perfecr for photo's.
We walked along the sea front today and it was peaceful and beautiful. The sun was shining but there was a lovely breeze and although there were some people, there were not many between 9 and 10am. We believe this is because most of the shops do not own until 10am. There is a lovely long pier to walk down and a delightful coffee shop at the end who made us a lovely cup of cappuccino. There are boats in the marina and bars and restaurants along the front. The best moment of all was the little penguin reserve behind the coffee shop. We walked over and saw a little penguin there in the rocks! We had to be very quiet so as not to scare him but we were thrilled to see him. Near the beach are shops and the theatre as well as Luna amusement park. St Kilda beach is delightful and really worth a visit.
