The first and only museum of its kind in Australia, Mad Max Museum is the product of one man’s passion and obsession with an iconic 1980s film character. The museum is owned and operated by Adrian Bennett, an Englishman who moved to Australia in 2006 in order to fulfill his dream of building a place entirely dedicated to Mad Max. Bennett built a huge compendium of original Mad Max items by scouring several film locations, and by connecting to other fans generous enough to donate numerous objects from their own personal collections. Drop by to see lots of Mad Max photos, costumes, original vehicles used in the movie, and replicas built by Bennett himself. So much history there, but when I found out about the Mad Max Museum, I was ecstatic 😃 The lovely lady there was full of information & so friendly & I was in awe when I saw all the memorabilia ! The display out the back was amazing..felt like I was really in Mad Max territory 😍 Well worth the $10 entry feel & if you are ever in the area this is a just see 😄
